"What an amazing experience we have had with you as our breeder! After tirelessly searching the web for a reputable breeder we are so pleased that we found you. Unlike other breeders who merely see their dogs as dollar signs, you go above and beyond everything we expected! The geniune care you have for each pup/dog is exactly the reason why we chose to add one of your pups to our family, and we are so glad we did! He has brought many smiles to our home and to everyone he meets and we never hesitate to let people know where he came from. We hope you know how grateful we are to you...Every email (and we sent lots!), phone call, question was answered happily and with care. We found the information you sent us home with to be very beneficial and we know that we could call you with the silliest of questions and you'd be happy to answer it right away. We thank you SO much for all you have done! We couldn't be happier!"

"We could not be happier with our handsome bloodhound puppy and the service you have provided. It was so comforting to have so much information sent home with him and to know you are always a call away whenever we have had a question. Everyone who meets our puppy has said he is the most handsome bloodhound they have ever seen. He is wonderful with our two toddlers and loves to be around people. Luke goes on the job with our landscape company and has never wandered off, he seems content with just watching what is going on around him. He brings a joy to our lives!"

I had found New England Holla Hounds on the internet in search of my bloodhound pup. I talked with Sara over the phone/e mail numerous times. She answered all of my questions and was very knowledgeable about the breed. I had visited her kennels three times to find a cast of wonderful bloodhound characters baying at me in hopes of some attention. Buck the father of my Huckleberry ran over and gave me wonderful slobbery bloodhound kisses. Dealing with Sara was a wonderful experience and she truly cares for every single bloodhound in her care and treats them like her family. I know this because when I came to pick up my Huckleberry the Hound, I noticed Sara had a little tear in her eye and was sad to see him go. I highly recommend New England Holla Hounds for your choice as a breeder and the joy your new bloodhound pup will bring you is unspeakable, especially when he starts to sing for you. Huck is a great addition to my family and I know you will feel the same way too.

I met Sara, Cathy and their kennel in February 09 when they were buying a nice puppy that we co own together, her name is Willow, from Ariel/Sathmo litter. Six months later June 7th, you had a litter and we co own Paisley together. I just knew the number's were right and at her first show she’s already showing that she is what her name is, New England Holla hounds Darling's Sweet Dreams .At .just 6 months old and her first show, she already has her Two major's. Shes our future star!

I have known Sara and Cathy for many years. Cathy was my partner in Saint Bernard’s for many years. Many of my pupps that went on to finish itheir Championship were raised by Cathy. She and Sara take wonderful care of their dogs. I never worried for a minute that each and every dog would get Cathy's undivided attention.
This past summer Cathy went on a three week vacation leaving Sara to fend for herself with her 2 little children, the saints and bloodhounds. Needless to say Sara had a new appreciation for all of her moms knowledge, not to mention ENDLESS hours of work put into daily chores. Sara found herself in a predicament when one of the dogs came down with severe diarrhea from drinking ground water. She could not reach her mom by phone so I got the distress call. Sara was in a TOTAL panic. I knew then that Sara had what it took to be a successful breeder. She cares deeply for each and every one of her adult dogs and puppies.
They have beautiful, sound bloodhounds with great temperaments. Anyone that gets a hound from them will be very pleased.
Two of their puppies from their first litters are well on their way to finishing their Championships.
Way to go Cathy and Sara!! (picture, Even, owned by myself and co-owned by Cathy)

I have always wanted a bloodhound so I searched the internet and found NE Holla Hounds. After talking with Sara about her hound puppies, she was very informative and helpful with our decision making to adopt Lilly. Between the weeks from actually picking Lilly up, I called, and emailed Sara with questions and concerns, in which Sara was very happy to answer regardless of how silly the question. We are very happy with Sara and the way Lilly was socialized and taken care of. Many people stop us and admire Lilly and we tell them where we got her, Lilly has adapted well to her new family and especially to her new buddy Charlie, a 6 yr old Coon Hound. She has brought us a lot of laughs and loving with her many kisses and her clown antics, she would do somersaults and chasing her tail. Now if I could only stop the counter surfing.

Bo is doing real good, as you can see he lives like a king i had to buy the cat so BO would not be alone. Everywhere I go people are amazed by BO, he is very cuddly and a big goof . He is 110 lbs, he likes to lay on me when i watch TV.
I am very happy with BO i made a very good choice. search and rescue did ask me to train BO so that probably be the way i will be going with him. Maybe next summer I will drive to your place to show you BO.

What could be better than a hound pup? Why, two hound pups, of course!
I was moping around, unhappy at having to give up my English Mastiff for aggression reasons, when my wife found the New England Holla Hounds web site. This was the beginning of a thoroughly enjoyable experience. When the day came to pick what was supposed to be one pup, I was traveling with two of my sons. My wife and other son made the trip to Vermont and picked out beautiful Layla. I did not find out until later that my wife had also fallen in love with the runt of the litter, Sasha, who kept following her around. Well, Sasha has caught up, and is also a beautiful young lady now. Both before and after the homecoming, Sara from NE Holla Hounds was very helpful in answering all our questions about this unique breed. We knew from the start that we were getting pups that were loved as family members. If you are in the market for a loyal and lovable dog, I highly recommend New England Holla Hounds!

Fancy Red, our precious little, well not so little girl, she has brought many smiles to us and all our friends. It was so nice to have a breeder that puts so much love and care into each one of their puppies. Meeting all of their dogs and seeing how well cared for they are was a heartwarming experience .Sara is an exceptional breeder who puts her heart into everyone of her dogs. The puppies are given lots of love by Sara, Cathy and her children. I’m sure it’s hard for them to say goodbye when it is time to go to their new homes. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a bloodhound to go to New England Holla Hounds first. They are very informative, professional and will become friends when you meet them. I’m sure we will be back to get Fancy Red a sister soon.

This is our big girl Luna, now 8 months old. We deceided to adopt a dog about a year ago and found Sara's website. Living in Québec, we had a lot of concerns about adopting a puppy from a different country, but Sara answered all our questions in no time. Luna was in perfect shape when we pick her up last September and she is ever since. She's a joyful and cuddly dog and only trusts her nose. She snores a lot and drools even more. She brings a lot of life in the house and she's always ready for jogging. We would like to thank Sara for her time and for raising such beautiful puppies.

Hi Sara,
Just wanted to say thanks so much. Ruby and I have been having a great time hanging out together. We had our best day ever today. We went to work and then had a great lunch and went swimming.( I waited an hour after eating so she didn’t get cramps. LOL). She hangs out with me at all of my friends places and does great with other dogs. And vacations very well at other houses. May sound corny but she has just wowed us! Time to do the nasty with her rabies shot and then get spayed. A male puppy was all over here Friday night and would not stay off her. I hope I make the spay before her first heat.. Other than that she is doing great. Her coat is gorgeous and she is packing on the pounds. Loves Garbanzo beans and fiddle heads!
Hope all is well with the new litter. When ever you are ready for a testimonial for the site use this or I’ll do better. Ruby is a great hound. THANKS ! Our best to your mom.

Dear ladies,
Babies are in good hands.
Thank you for everything, the pups you produce are high league, they are beautiful, adorable, and full of love.
Tanya learned how to jump over the temporary fence and travel to the middle section. Lucky, the front of the house is locked with steel parking and entrance gates. I will have to fix a new one soon at the backyard. Tanya is the pusher one and Ottis is after her like a big sloppy baby, both are full of grace. They look like twin soles.
Today the kids took the pups with the "walking bus" to school and pups were walking with a group of 50 children. It was a magnificent sight.
It seems like we found each other, and all thanks to you.
We'll keep in touch.
Best regards,
Eyal , Sharon, Doron, Ronen and Alon

His name is Bouba and it was already our love before its official arrival in the family.
What an honor and privilege to have a puppy coming from your house!!! It is the best choice that we would have been able to make for the acquisition this new member of our family.
Everything is, not only the beauty but also the character there, it is a big cuddly fluff!!! He is adorable with our 4-year-old son and he likes having fun with him and it is mutual!!! Bouba comes from a house where people are affectionates, devoted and fascinated by their dogs. The concern which you have for your puppies given in adoption makes of you wonderful persons and filled dogs. All your family is really adorable!!!
Now, he is within our competence to make of his life a paradise and never will you be right to worry of his good because we make a priority!!! It is a member of the maintaining family and for the remainder of its life!!! His life will be love, cuddles, embraces, in brief, all that there is of better for him!!!
Thank you for all what made for him and also for us, to know that we can count any time on people who want only his good, reassure us and let us know that you will always be to help us if need be.
Still thank you!!!

Encore merci!!!

I visited your kennel when picking up my Otis. Your husband (Saras Dad) was sitting outside and prancing around him was Loretta your young hound. Saras children were running in the yard and all hounds were outside in plain view. I approached the pen where my Otis was and noticed how clean an area it was. I was also shown where the latest group of pups were (these were your pups Cathy) and again notice how clean an area it was. There was a beautiful pond to the left for dog swimming and Sara took me for a short walk to see her hounds. All dogs looked very well cared for and the area where they were was so clean and canine friendly. To me, it seemed like something out of Little House on The Prairie. On my departure, my Otis as well as my Bergie received hugs and kisses from the kids. It was a wonderful visit. As said previously I was totally impressed.
I am thrilled with my Otis. He is an absolute joy! You girls are doing a great job!

I have been a friend of the family for many many years! I have never seen two people that care for their animals as much as them, LOL Cathy and Sara cook for their dogs before their husbands! I have witnessed them sleeping with their pups to make sure they are properly cared for. I love to visit when they have puppies. I'm always a victim of (social time) with their pups! I'm always covered with puppy kisses. They breed their dogs for the love of the breed, not the money, like many breeders.. Cathy and Sara place their dogs rather than sell them. I laugh, its much like being in front of the judge! Then they cry when they place one! They have trained one of their older Saints (Willis) to keep track of me while I'm there! Swear he hears me coming from a mile away! Or smells the pizza crust! I really don't understand how anyone could be stupid enough to say anything disrespectful about NEHOLLAHOUNDS. Highly recommended by me!

Trish Rodriguez I am a proud grandma to a beautiful bloodhound and her name is Georgia Lou. She came from a litter of pups that your mom had. From the moment I saw her and got my 1st slobbery kiss she stole my heart!! I also have worked for a vet for over 8 yrs and I have seen my share of puppies. Some have come from pet stores, rescue groups, and so called "breeders". 8 out of 10 times these puppies come in with kennel cough, intestinal parasites, giardia, and mange. Georgia Lou pardon the expression but she was and still is healthy as a horse! I could go on but the bottom line is I would recommend NE Holla hounds to anyone who is looking for a giant slobbery angel like Georgia ! We all love her so much! Thanks to you and your mom!!

I wanted to take a moment to thank you ladies for such a wonderful puppy! The time, attention, and love that you give to your dogs, is apparent in the very essence of what is "Hope" Your dedication to your dogs, and your puppies, and their health is amazing. I have literally looked at hundreds of sites, seeking out "reputable breeders". You took time to answer all of my questions. I enjoyed your website, and the many, many pictures of your dogs playing, and
running. Pictures of your "family" the two and four legged
members! I was really impressed that you showed your kennels! How enlightening to see a breeder putting so much into making sure their hounds live the life they deserve! I was also pleasently surprised
to read that you also donate to rescues! What a noble act!! After
many conversations, and even more pictures, you helped me pick my "Hope" She is beautiful!! She is everything i was expecting, and then some. What a happy, well balanced puppy! You really went above and beyond with getting her all the way to Alberta for me!! I literally fell in love with her the very second that i met her, and held that beautiful head of hers in my hand! I would defiantly recommend New England Holla Hounds to anyone looking for a phenomenal puppy!
"Thank You", from the very bottom of my heart!
